Excess harms skin’s health 🐷



Ia few weeks ago, I did you a little post on the foods to eat to have a beautiful skin (you can also find it on our Facebook page. Click on the little «F» at the top right 😉) 

After that, I promised you I’d come back with the ones to avoid or at least to moderate so that the skin doesn’t suffer too much. Well, today’s the day! 🎉


Enough nonsense, let’s get straight to the point (I feel like you’re going to hate me after this post 😅):

• 🥛 dairy products and especially cow’s milk, which tends to cause acne breakouts and pimples. To check if this is really the cause, don't hesitate (if you manage of cours e!) to deprive yourself of cow’s milk for some time and to check after that the condition of your skin. 

• 🍭 Well this is clearly not new (at least not for me 🙄) but sweets are also not good for the skin. I’ll explain. When you consume sugars, it increases your blood sugar level. As a result, excess sugar in the blood leads to the production of sebum and hormones. And an overproduction of sebum leads to oily skin and the appearance of pimples. (I hope I was clear 😅)

• 🍻 Alcohol ! Well, I’m not going to repeat the speech but you know, it’s to be consumed in moderation. 

Well apart from that, alcohol is a very rich drink in sugars and I have already explained to you the consequence of excess sugar for the skin, a little above ⬆️ 

• 🥖 Gluten. I confess, I don’t have the exact explanation for why it gives pimples but thanks to my ex dermato 😌. What is certain is that it's like milk. Test a gluten-free diet for a while and see if that’s the reason for your catastrophic skin. 

(I urge you to pay attention to gluten, and to consume less or more at all, but gluten-free food…🤮. Do not follow my example of course 🙄) 

• 🧂 I don’t know if you’re aware, but salt is known to be a water absorber. 

And as a result, the result of excess salt is dehydrated skin and a dull complexion.

For testing the dehydrated skin (I said it as if it were a lipstick 💄), it’s tight… it hurts 😣

• ☕️ I know that coffee is the BFF of many of you but, you have to slow down! Because coffee is like salt, it dehydrates the skin, so go easy, baby! (Plus it digs in the wrinkles 😒)

• 🥓 Yes, not everything is so good in the pig 🐷 

Even if it scratches my mouth to say it, deli meats also have a detrimental effect on the health of our skin. Its high fat content, causes the appearance of excessive pimples and as a result, your skin does not thank you. 


Well, that’s good enough ! Especially since there’s everything I like 🥺 but anyway !

I don’t know if I specified above, most of the foods mentioned above, I’m not telling you to remove them from your diet. No ! Just don’t overdo it and your skin will thank you !
